The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) states that the best way to protect you and those you love from the flu is to get a flu shot every flu season.

ANYONE can get the flu.  Influenza is a highly contagious respiratory disease that can lead to serious complications, hospitalization, even death.  Even healthy children and adults can get very sick from the flu and unknowingly spread it to family and friends.  As a result, the CDC recommends that everyone 6 months of age or older should get vaccinated against the flu.
