A Master's Level Qualified Mental Health Professional 

The Lawrence County Health Department is looking for a Master's Level Qualified Mental Health Professional to assist in the oversight of our Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program and maintain a counseling caseload. Time will be split between PSR (Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program) and counseling clients at our Behavior Health location in Lawrenceville, IL.

 Examples of Work:


  • Maintains a counseling caseload which includes individual, family, couple and group counseling and/or case management and consultation

  • Develops, implements, schedules and staffs PSR activities

  • Completes assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning activities

  • Assists the consulting psychiatrist in educating clients/family about psychotropic medications

  • Utilize acceptable clinical techniques to effect client change according to goals/objectives of client

  • Uses case management skills and/or staff appropriately

  • Participates in interdisciplinary clinical staff meetings

  • Works jointly with other disciplines to arrange services beyond his/her scope

  • Provides crisis services as needed

  • Attends necessary training events in order to obtain/maintain professional certification/licensure

  • Maintains staff coverage/schedules to ensure client to staff ratio in groups and transportation


Applicants should be aware of the following:

  • Normal hours are 8:00 AM-4:00 PM with one late night per week from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM. (Paid 30 minute Lunch)

  • Employee will have to be "on call" and respond in the event of a crisis every 6-8 weeks. Employee is compensated accordingly.

The Lawrence County Health Department is in search of a part time Patient Accounts Representative. 


This employee will greet patients, schedule appointments, and answer the phone.

This position is located within our Rural Health Clinic.  Employee will work between 16 and 24 hours per week.  The clinic is open from 8:00 AM-6:00 PM Monday through Thursday. 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM on Friday. Times may vary on those days.

Qualifications:

Minimum of high school diploma;
Clerical/Office Experience Preferred
Working knowledge of computer programs, such as Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to quickly grasp new ideas and new approaches; and
Ability to interact with LCHD employees and the public in an efficient, friendly, cooperative and professional manner and to ensure great customer service is provided to everyone at all times.

Base wage is $10.75 per hour.  Additional money per hour based on experience.
